The BaustoffMarkt-Oskar goes to ACO

The timing and frame could not have been better. During the world's leading trade fair for architecture, materials and systems, the BAU 2019 in Munich, the ACO Group received the most important prize in the construction industry. Great cheers and joy were in the entire ACO team as Dr. Christoph Müller, Managing Director of the Rudolph Müller Media Group, announced the winner. After 2011, ACO was awarded for the second time with the highest award in the building materials industry, the BaustoffMarkt-Oskar. The trophy, which is regarded as the "prize of prizes" in the building materials industry, has been founded by the business magazine BaustoffMarkt since 1982 and awarded to companies that live the partnership-based cooperation between the building materials industry and the building materials specialist in a special way. Already in autumn last year, a prominent expert jury from the specialist trade - after examining and evaluating the applications - compiled a shortlist of selected candidates who, as partners in the building materials specialist trade, sought the prize. Subsequently, the jury determined the shortlist, with only 10 applicants, more than 1,000 companies and executives in the German building materials specialist trade for election. In the end, the ACO Group prevailed against the two also nominated Ardex and Saint Gobain- Isover. "We have always maintained the partnership with the building materials specialist. The well-functioning trade-manufacturer relationship is based on two pillars", explain Francesco Vitale and Thomas Bannas, Managing Directors of the ACO Group. "On the one hand, it is the trust that we receive from retailers and, on the other hand, it is our above-average employees who do an excellent job on the ground. We would like to thank our customers and our staff." Søren Olsen, Managing Director of the ACO Group, also praises the entire ACO team. "The profit of the BaustoffMarkt-Oskar means for us recognition on the highest level and confirmation of our daily, common work. Recognition because the vote of our customers shows that the extraordinary proximity in connection with the competence of our employees is very important to them. And confirmation, as it shows that even in such a big company like ACO, we are constantly working hand in hand, with a lot of passion, and meeting our customers "at eye level" and always satisfying them."
