Award for ACO with the GaLaBau Innovation Medal
At the expert forum of the leading international trade fair GaLaBau in Nuremberg, the drainage system ACO Drain®Box was awarded the Innovation Medal by the Bundesverband Garten-, Landschafts- und Sportplatzbau e. V. (BGL).

The award ceremony was one of the highlights of the trade fair. With the GaLaBau Innovation Medal, the BGL rewards the successful development of new, progressive and environmentally friendly solutions. Environmentally friendly production and disposal play a central role in the selection of the award-winning innovations. The ACO Drain®Box is a combination of line and point drainage for relieving flooding hotspots in the sewer system. Combined with connected systems, it enables the reuse of rainwater.

ACO makes a strong case for a sustainable future

In addition to the ACO Drain®Box, ACO presented individual system solutions on 300 square meters at GaLaBau and recorded strong visitor interest across all four days of the trade fair. In total, around 62,000 visitors from 76 countries came to the trade fair to find out about innovations in the industry.

ACO focuses on a sustainable future with its corporate message "ACO. we care for water". The goal: to establish a holistic rainwater management system that covers all stages of the water cycle and not only drains valuable rainwater, but also makes it usable. In doing so, ACO attaches equal importance to function and aesthetics. Thus, squares and paths in gardening and landscaping are effectively staged, individual designs or accentuations with lighting underline the architecture and the area design.
