ACO is a proud Host City Premium Partner of the Ocean Race Europe 2025 in Kiel and cordially invites all visitors to visit the ACO Waterdome at
Reventloubrücke!
From 6 to 10 August 2025, the Kiel Fjord will be transformed into an international stage for ocean sailing. Under the motto ‘Connecting Europe’, the prestigious regatta will begin here, with IMOCA teams from all over the world competing against each other.
Visitors can expect a five-day programme with exciting races, an Ocean Live Park, hands-on activities relating to environmental and marine protection, as well as a fan day and speed runs. The official start of the stages will take place on 10 August.
The following stage locations have been confirmed for the planned six weeks: Portsmouth (UK), Porto (Portugal), Cartagena (Spain), Nice (France), Genoa (Italy) and the Bay of Boka (Montenegro), where the race will finish.

ACO WaterDome
In our WaterDome, you can expect an interesting, exciting and interactive exhibition on the topic of water, rainwater management and
ideas for sustainable use.
Our WaterDome will be located here from 6 August 2025: Reventlou Bridge at the Kiellinie!
On Friday, August 8, ACO will be a guest on the main stage of the Ocean Race at Reventlouwiese starting at 5:45 PM.
Accompanied by moderator Kristin Recke, the discussion will focus on the question:
