From lunch tables to the introduction of new colleagues, from internal newsletters to urgent messages, all colleagues at Rendsburg, ACO Haustechnik and ACO Prybislav can now find local and global messages in a central location.

we.aco is thus a front-door intranet where you can find everything that is important or get tips on where to get the information you are looking for. The search function provides support here. Colleagues with Microsoft accounts can even find documents directly in Sharepoint. In addition, we.aco can be integrated and used in Microsoft Teams.

But who is actually behind we.aco? In the end, it's all of us, which is why the platform is called we.aco. You can mark posts with a "like", write comments or even write posts yourself. Anyone can become an author on we.aco or suggest topics. There is a central e-mail address for this purpose, which you can contact at any time: wesupport@aco.com .

Nevertheless, there is of course a core team that has been working hard since May 2020 to find a digital solution for internal communication at ACO. These are Hans-Julius Ahlmann, Iver Ahlmann, Thomas Bendixen and the works council as initiators, together with Lea Woldag-Schwauna, Inger-Kristina Wegener, Stephan Bauer, Brunhild Schmidtke, Anne-Kristina Kirchhoff, Martin Höhne, Indra Pahl and Sophie Charlotte Schneider (see picture below, f.l.t.r.).

We compared different providers and existing systems like Sharepoint. In the end, we decided on Staffbase, a provider that large companies like MAN, DHL or Viessmann have also used to build their intranet solutions. Data security as well as branding capability and ease of use played a particular role in the selection process.

Even before the system was activated, ACO Haustechnik and the ACO colleagues in the Czech Republic had already joined we.aco and helped to bring this large, important project to live. The next locations, Bürstadt, Reith and Aarbergen, are already in the starting blocks. Because the system is meant to be rolled out worldwide and everyone can have their own individual view, with their own local news. And yet it is possible to support each other across countries in the backend and share news. In the spirit of ONE ACO, there are regular meetings for the editorial teams to exchange information.

We would be very pleased if more locations would like to join we.aco. Are you interested? Then get in touch directly with Lea Woldag-Schwauna, Alexandra Rohwer or Sophie Charlotte Schneider.
